EDENA Capital Secures $100M from GEM to Expand Digital Securities Exchanges
Singapore-based EDENA Capital Partners has raised $100 million from New York investment firm GEM to launch regulated Security Token Offering (STO) exchanges in Indonesia and Egypt. The funding will support trading of tokenized real estate, carbon credits, and corporate equity, with assets priced as low as $10.
The capital injection accelerates EDENA’s roadmap for emerging markets, targeting Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa through partnerships with BEK Group and UI Networks. GEM’s $3.4 billion portfolio adds institutional heft to the expansion.
Indonesia emerges as a strategic hub following government approval for STO markets—a regulatory milestone that could unlock tokenized asset trading across ASEAN. The joint venture with BEK Group simultaneously positions EDENA to capture Middle Eastern and North African markets.
